Crooner's Corner
is an act featuring music from the 1920's-40's. Sentimental ballads to
up tempo swing are performed in period style and dress by
Bill Dougal.
Vocalist Bill is influenced by Bing, Mel Torme and Al Jolson. Composers like
Gershwin. Berlin and Porter are represented. The nostalgic sounds
recall the romance of yesteryear. Older audiences enjoy the memories
and younger audiences can discover great old tunes. Bill is accompanied by
his own guitar. An additional musician is added for some shows. Well
known tunes like "Sentimental Journey" appear as well as lesser known gems like
"Imagination." Crooner's Corner has
performed at OPSAIL2000 and a myriad of senior venues. The following is a
